The following ski trips are offered by the MNYSC and NJSSC. All 50+ Ski Club members are eligible to participate in these trips. Details are below.
MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO - ITALY Jan. 30 - Feb. 7, 2027 The Double Diamond Ski Club will be running the trip for the MNYSC, The package price is $2499 (pp dbl occ) and includes air fare, transfers, 7- night lodging daily brealfast and dinner. It does not include lift tickets. An Epic 6-day pass is $450. A $500 deposit due at booking. See the attached brochure for more information. TREMBLANT - Quebec - February 7th-12th, 2027 NJSSC - Prices range from $890 - $1440 pp, (less $430 if you have an IKON pass). Price includes 5 Nights lodging at the Holiday Inn & Suites (slopeside to cabriolet). See the attached documents for further information: Tremblant Flyer and Registration Form .
HAKUBA VALLEY JAPAN - March 13 – 24, 2027 NJSSC - Prices range from abouty $5100 to $7750, depending on options and occupancy. Includes even nights in Hakuba Valley with 10 EPIC ski resorts and three nights in Tokyo. Two options for an extension to either Niseko for 3 more days of skiing or Kyoto for sightseeing returning on March 27. See the attached Flyer for more information. Japan Flyer .
LAKE TAHOE - Feb. 21-27, 2027 NJSSC - Prices range from about $4450 to $5200 and includes 7 nights in South Lake Tahoe. You can choose between various hotel and air options. Lift tickets are not included. The Heavenly, Kirkwood, and Northstar are EPIC resorts. See the attached document for further information: Lake Tahoe Flyer .
RIVERWALK AT LOON MOUNTAIN - February 28 - Mar. 5, 2027. Prices range from $670 to $1220, depending on occupancy. Prices do not include lift tickets which will be offered later. IKON PASSES New IKON Seson Pass buyers receive a discount through the Metro NY Ski Council. The Council also gets credit for people who are renewing their pass. Email skimikec@aol.com with the name, birthdate, last years' pass number and which pass you will purchase this year.
INDY PASSES Indy Pass added 16 new alpine and cross-country ski area partners and opened 2026-27 pass sales Feb. 25 to existing pass holders. Indy also reduced the price of its Indy+ Pass, which includes zero blackout dates, to $399 from $419. The Indy Add-On Pass, which is for people who have an unlimited season pass at an Indy Pass partner ski area, remains $269 for adults and $169 for children. To preserve the experience at Indy partner resorts, a limited amount of passes will be sold for the 26/27 season. Passes are sold out but to sign up for the waitlist, go to: INDY PASS
.NEW YORK STATE OLYMPIC REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (ORDA) The ORDA board of directors approved $15.9 million in capital investments across Whiteface, Gore, and Belleayre mountains, continuing a multi-year run of infrastructure upgrades at the state-owned ski areas. The funds will be used for snowmaking, trail, and electrical improvements: $6 million at Whiteface, $5.43 million at Gore, and $4 million at Belleayre. In addition, the board approved approximately $1.6 million for conveyor lift upgrades at Gore and Belleayre, including new conveyor systems at both ski areas and the relocation of an existing conveyor at Gore to the North Creek Ski Bowl.

Growing older certainly is proving to have its benefits, with some resorts across North America offering free ski passes to those who meet their definitions of Senior or Super Senior.
